REVISION OF PENSION IN RESPECT OF PRE-01.01.2016 ARMED FORCES.COMMISSIONED OFFICERS AND THEIR ELIGIBLE FAMILY PENSIONERS
1. 1. Consequent to issue of Govt Orders for revision of 7th CPC recommendationsfor pre-2016 retirees /family pensioners, the Govt has approved to fix the pension as on01.01.2016 as per two formulas.
(multiplyingg basic pension as on 31 Dec 15 by a factor of 2.57.
(b) Notionally fixing pay in the pay matrix recommended by the 7th CPC in the levelcorresponding to the pay in the pay .scale/ pay band and grade pay at which theyretired/died. This will be done by noti`o�nal pay fixation under each intervening paycommission based on the formula for revision of pay.
2. Based on the above, the pension which is beneficial would be fixed accordingly. Inorder to revise the pension, Directorate of Air Veterans would require certain information fromthe pensioners as envisaged in the Govtletter No 17(O1)/2017/(02)/D(Pension/Policy) issuedon 05 Sep 17 and PCDA (P) letter No G-1/M/O1/lC0's/7th CPCNoII/2017 dated 29 Sep 17.
inn view of the above, it is kindly requested to provide the information as per theannexed format to process your case under 7th CPC. The following may be adhered to whilefilling up the columns
