Your club and Tennis Victoria A perfect partnership
“We think the new model is fantastic. It opens up new membership opportunities and will reduce membership costs which will hopefully attract new members.” Duncan Runciman Maff ra Lawn TC
2014/15 is an exciting year for tennis in Victoria, with the launch of the game changing new affiliation model. This simple annual payment offers clubs all the previous affiliation benefits plus the opportunity to be innovative and attract more players to their venues.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome new and returning clubs. Tennis is a significant community across our state, and now our new model, made possible through the support and commitment of Tennis Australia, will allow us to truly unite and
continue to grow stronger together.
Tennis Victoria is committed to servicing our volunteers, coaches and players to deliver quality tennis experiences. Our primary goal is to make tennis a part of every Victorian’s life – and this couldn’t happen without the great work of countless volunteers and coaches. Whether it’s enhancing the capability of your club, getting more people playing more often, the provision of competitions and pathways, creating great places to play, or helping your club to build its government relations, our team of Community Tennis Officers and support staff at Tennis Victoria are committed to helping each and every club realise their goals.
This document is your guide to Tennis Victoria for 2014/15, including who we are, the new affiliation model, and the benefits for your club. Best wishes for the year ahead and thank you again for your efforts and the contribution you make to the great game of tennis.
Kind regards,
Matthew Kennedy Chief Executive Officer
