Tense คือการเปลี่ยนรูปของคํากริยา เพื่อแสดงชวงเวลาตาง ๆ การเปลี่ยนรูปของคํากริยา เพื่อแสดงชวงเวลาตาง ๆ แบงเปน 3 ชวง ไดแก

- Past- Past- Present- Future- Future

Tense ในแตละชวงเวลา จะแบงเปน

- Simple- Continuous- Perfect- Perfect- Perfect Continuous

ทั่วไป

ในแตละชวงเวลา จะแบงเปน 4 แบบ ไดแก

ทั่วไปกําลังทําเกิดกอน มีระยะเวลาเกิดกอน มีระยะเวลาเกิดกอน ทําเรื่อย ๆ
