Teresina

Teresina is a fairly big city. It is the only capital in the Northeast that isn’t on the

Atlantic coast, but It is known as Brazilian Mesopotamia because it is

between two rivers.

• Teresina has a mix of tradicional and modern characteristics. It is very beautiful, clean and one of the greenest cities in the country. It is not very safe, however.

• The weather is pretty hot, but to ease the heat that plagues the city anytime, wooded parks and squares are scattered through the streets and avenues.

You should go in June. Because the weather is less hot and there are many typical attractions like a June Festival, and forró bands in the nightlife. It is not expensive. You pay nothing to watch. It is All free.

• If you don’t like crafts, there are two shopping centers.You can go to the Teresina or Riverside. It’s very easy to get there. You can take subway.

You shouldn’t miss the meeting of the rivers Poty and Parnaíba. It’s heavenly

You should spend all day on the beautiful Poty beach. You can do an eco tour by Environmental Park Cabeça de Cuia . Then You should lunch in floating restaurant.

To whet your appetite, you should try Tiquira. It’s a drink Macaxeira’s spirit. Then you can prove a peixada de piratinga. If you think food is spicy, you should taste cajuína, an exotic cashew juice carbonated.
