begin orientation at NorthCarolina Central UniversitySunday, August 27.

Physical examinations forwomen continue Tuesdaymorning. Tours of campuswill be offered during the day,
and a social is scheduled at7:30 p.m. at the universitycafeteria.
Commander Lambert andan Air Force officer will offerextended information sessionsat 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The official orientationprogram runs through Friday,September 1, and includes in-formation sessions on health,Navy and Air Force ROTCprograms, registration, studentgovernment and student activ-ities, and other subjects.
Also included are physicalexaminations, achievementtests, placement tests in variousacademic areas, and registra-tion for classes.
Sunday's activities includechecking in to residence halls,a meal on campus, and a socialat the Durham Hotel, givenfrom 3 to 5 p.m. through thecourtesy of the hotel.
The routine Monday beginsat 7:30 a.m. with a healthinformation session. Physicalexaminations are scheduled formen in the mortiing and forwomen in the afternoon. Wel-come exercises are set at 7:30p.m. to include the presidentof the student government as-sociation, football linebackerWilliam Covington, the chief of
campus security, Philip Marable,Undergraduate Dean Cecil L.Patterson, and chancellor Al-bert N. Whiting. Also at thatsession will be Commander
