Deanna Gescheider, Director of Communications and Community Engagement at the City of Reno, uses her 25+ years of marketing experience she garnered in both the public and private sector to make the City of Reno’s communications and community outreach one of the most innovative and citizen-focused efforts in the nation. This presentation outlines the integrated marketing approach to the City of Reno’s communications outreach, specifically the #ThinkReno campaign. The campaign was designed to provide a more convenient way for citizens to share ideas with the City. To date, hundreds have shared their ideas and made a difference in Reno.
