description

The title as though appeals to something evangelical and sacral, at the sime time a rather ironical three words combination. The immortal Uncle William (Shakespeare) did not visit me in my dreams at night, but at some point in time, writing this work, I turned in his direction, joining theatre and music. The may be not so much of the latter, but the appearance of the actor - reader in the score happened earlier than the choice of the texts from The Tempest and Hamlet was made. Soprano, delivering Hamlet's monologue, seemed to me a rather interesting and somewhat logical turn - surely woman, as much as men, think about the meaning of life. Soft irony without sarcasm, theatre in music, a little bit of sorrow, alittle bit of joy. A dream, but not a nightmare. Texts by William Shakespeare are performed in English and Lithuanian.
