Basic StoryBasic StoryAfter Nagasaki was
bombed, it would be known as the second city in the world to be exposed and bombed by the atomic bomb. These attacks happened during the devastating World War 2. The unheard of destructive bomb was dropped by none other than the United States of America. This weapon quickly got the nick-name ‘Fat Man’. As many people as 80,000 may have died on that terrible day but no one can be positive.

Effects of the BombEffects of the BombThe bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki didn’t have as much destruction on its city as the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima. The layout of Nagasaki shielded it from a lot of the destruction even though most of it wasn’t a match for fat mans total destruction. The explosion covered a span of 43 square miles. Only 33 of those miles were some-what populated. Surprisingly, a lot of roads and railroads were left not completely damaged which was very unexpected. The bomb took out an estimated 80,000 people sadly.
