Baptisms
Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays in both
churches. Baptisms must be scheduled at least 2
months in advance. New parents are required to at-
tend a Baptism Parents class. Please call the rectory to
find out when the next class will be held and/ or to
schedule a baptism.
Register If you would like to register with the parish, please
call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.
We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-
sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-
mation are only issued to registered members of the
parish.
Wedding
To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,
consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-
posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance
at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning classes is re-
quired.
Anointing of the Sick
Communion to the Homebound
Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness
occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are
confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-
ments can be made to bring communion to those un-
able to attend Mass. Please contact Parish Office at #
718-442-4755
Food Pantry
The cold Winter months can be even colder on an empty stomach. Please consider mak-
ing a donation to our food pantry. Our food pantry doors will be open on Tuesday, January 14
from 5pm—7pm. Non perishable foods please: canned goods, rice, pasta, breakfast cereal,
childrens snacks, oatmeal and peanut butter and jelly.

decorate our churches for Christmas. We especially
thank Scalici Florist for the beautiful flowers and

NEW YEARS EVE PARTY! Tickets are on sale
for the parish New Years Eve Party. Dinner, dessert,
dancing, party favors and champagne toast! All for
$25 per adult and $5 per child. Bring in the New
Year with your family and friends in a friendly envi-
ronment that’s close to home. See our insert for more
information.
Hospitality Sunday: Join us for breakfast and fel-
lowship in the parish hall on Sunday, January 5 after
the 10am Mass. Breakfast provided free to you cour-
tesy of our Spanish Community.
Religious Education Program: Classes will resume
on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
Altar Servers: We are looking for altar servers. If
your child would like to serve the parish in a very
special way, please call the rectory. Altar servers
must be in the 4th grade (or higher) and already re-
ceived First Communion.
SAVE THE DATE: The Holy Name Society will
sponsor a Nite at the Races in the Parish Hall on Sat-
urday, January 25. Buy your tickets early. This
event will sell out.
Bingo: Join us for bingo games in the parish hall
every Friday nights. Doors open at 6pm. Bingo sup-
plies and refreshments available for purchase.
