THE COLLECTION SYMBOLOur symbol captures the true meaning of the word Nido. Inspired by the Spanish and Italian word for ‘nest’, it represents an intersection of our resident’s ideas, their paths, their stories and experiences. Nido provides a safe, welcoming environment where friendships are forged, talent is nurtured and ambitions fulfilled.

RESIDENCE SYMBOLS A prime location, stunning architecture, a rich heritage. Each residence has a unique story and a unique symbol derived from the original Nido ‘nest’.

ROOMSOur rooms are fully furnished with all the essentials for studying or socialising. All offer comfortable beds, workspace and bathrooms. We also encourage selection of a preferred room size, window view or bedroom layout, affording our residents the opportunity to create their home-away-from-home.

SOCIAL EVENTSEvery student needs a safe, comfortable environment where they can fulfil their academic potential. At the Nido Collection that comes as standard. Part of what makes time with us so memorable are the lasting friendships and networks that flourish here. Our social events are designed to connect people of all cultures and languages in a fully-inclusive year-round social calendar. From the Welcome Party to Chinese New Year, Halloween and the Nido Music Festival we keep our residents engaged and entertained.

CAREER EVENTSOur residents are ambitious global influencers and our career events reflect their aspirations. We invite experts from various industries to speak and network with our residents throughout the year. These events include a Business Speaker Series, CV and Interview Workshops, Start-up seminars and industry specific events for music, design and more.

LEARNING EVENTSLiving away from home for the first time can be challenging. Our learning events focus on developing our resident’s life-skills. Through events including Gourmet Cooking Courses, Fashion Forums, Presenting Workshops and Leadership Seminars we can help them to thrive as they experience life in a new location.

BEHIND THE SCENESEach member of The Nido Collection team has four core values in common. They are ambitious, solutions-driven, in-touch and strive for excellence in everything they do. Breaking away from the traditional industry standard we’ve developed a Media House to write, design and produce content to truly engage our residents. This content is published in our Collection newspaper and all other media channels.

DESIGN & ARCHITECTUREInspiration has been drawn from hotels, private members’ clubs and luxury brands to pioneer a new category within the student accommodation industry. Our talented design team combine function with form, comfort with beauty to ensure our rooms and social spaces enable students to thrive.

OUR LATEST CLUB HOUSE Our inspiration and key design principles have previously transformed spaces into karaoke rooms, a 32nd floor panoramic restaurant and an auditorium. At Nido West Hampstead we are undertaking an ambitious project to transform the social spaces with a beautiful Glasshouse extending into the Courtyard. This stunning redevelopment, in addition to a café and restaurant will truly reflect a welcoming environment for all our residents and their guests.

OUR RESIDENTS Our residents are young, aspirational global influencers of their generation. We support them during their stay and champion them to the next generation of Nido students.
