Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at

CSUSMFor students age 50 and up!

Beginning in 2004 with a $100,000 grant from the Bernard Osher Foundation, CSUSM’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute has expanded to more than 500 members!

Course offering grow and change to provide members with new experiences, intellectual stimulation and social awareness taught by CSUSM professors and field experts in a variety of location

Health Matters (Solana Beach)

Province and Duty: The Birth and Evolution of the Supreme Court (1789-1935) (Temecula)

From Cave Paintings to Roman Triumphal Arches: The Art of the Ancient World (San Marcos)

The Summer Wines (Carlsbad)

Droughts, Dams and Development: The History of Water Resources in California (Carlsbad)

How exactly will membership be beneficial to me?

How much will it cost?You have two options:1. General Membership – Pay $20 for membership and then pay as you go for classes and trips2. Annual Membership – Pay $395 in the fall to select an unlimited amount of courses throughout the year(not including the materials fee for certain classes)**fees are nonrefundable
