BOX TOPS Turn in Box Tops by Wed, Nov 30
and the class with the most will get a
donut party!
Boon earns money every time you travel, shop and save 50-90%!!! It's quite simple
Here's how it works in 3 simple steps:
Boonster Update
We are still accepting contributions to
our Boonster Fundraising Campaign!
Students and Parents, take pride and ownership in
building our school and its resources by doing your
part. If everyone pitches in we can make a difference.
With the recent State education cuts our support
through contributions is essential. This year’s
Boonster goal is $40,000. No donation is too big or
too small. Last year’s Boonster program contributed
over $20,000 in gifts to Boon Elementary.
Together we can do great things!
Get ready to share your talents at the
2012 Boon Talent Show
The date has been set for
Friday, May 18 at 6:30pm.
Rehearsals will be on
Thursday, May 17 at 6:30pm.
We are in need of committee mem-
bers willing to help organize, pre-
pare, and put this show on.
If you are interested, please contact Inga Sanford:
ingasanford@yahoo.com
Looking forward to a great show!
Facebook: Boon PTA
Many parents consider Facebook to be a great
communication tool. Be sure and look us up and us at
Boon PTA.
Parent Tip:
Silence is Golden. When you feel you are
about to react negatively towards your child’s behavior, step back and take a
breath. Your response will end up being kinder, gentler and more appropriate.

Environmental Tip of the Week
Where can I recycle my old television?
Take it to any Best Buy store! For TVs too large
to bring in, they also offer a pick-up service.
