THE POTATO PROJECT IN GERMANY – GÖTTINGEN

SEPTEMBER OCTOBER 2013

Planting, taking care of and picking potatoes at the RUZ. The children recorded weather data and information about the potato plants and animals on the fields.

On the 16th of September year3a and 3d visited the RUZ – a local farm - to experience picking potatoes.

Preparing our autumn festivalWe are making postcards. A cooperative project between year 1 and 3.

Our autumn festival on the 21st of September– year 3 is selling boiled potatoes with curd and is offering a potato run. Parents, teachers and children are involved.
