Historic, 19th century Rex Ranch, just south of Tucson, Ariz., was built in the style unique to this area, and some of its thick, natural adobe walls are over 170 years old. In the early 20th century, the 50-acre ranch was developed into a gracious, hacienda-style compound with courtyards and fountains. Sitting at the edge of the Coronado National Forest in the foothills of the Santa Rita Mountains, this ranch has a deeply spiritual energy. We acquired it in 2017 to reimagine it as a wellness-focused petite resort and look forward to welcoming you when it opens in 2022.

Situated between the misty coastline of Bodega Bay and the rich wine country of Sebastopol, Sonoma Coast Villa & Spa will offer guests an immersive luxury farming experience including activities such as beekeeping in our apiaries and trips to the coast for crabbing and oystering. Originally opened as a vacation retreat in 1982, the revived, 30-key Sonoma Coast Villa & Spa will invite guests to experience cuisine made from ingredients harvested from the 60 acres of rolling hills it calls home in the Russian River Valley. The property will also offer curated coastal adventures, and luxury wine tours to over 100 wineries and 50 tasting rooms within a 30-minute drive.
