The Self Build Mortgage filter: Mortgage Brain

Once you’ve clicked on the “source” tab and have entered all the required mandatory fields for your client you’ll need to remember the “self build” filter to

bring up the available range of self build mortgage products. To do this, you’ll need to select the “More Filters” icon highlighted below.

By selecting the “More Filters” icon it will then bring up more filtering options under the “property details” tab. You will notice an additional section will

have been added called “House Filters (Misc)” which will allow you to select “Self Build” to filter self build mortgage products.

Once you’ve selected these tabs simply select “Results” which will then display self build mortgage products shown below. By selecting “lender”, this will

then group together the provider’s products including BuildLoan.

In this section you’ll then have the option to either to “sort by” including initial rate or initial monthly payment, run an illustration, and exclude products,

view product details or view lender notes amongst other options.

The example below shows the lender details for our BuildLoan - Virgin Money Custom Build Tracker.

You’ll also have the option to change filters and enhance your sourcing criteria.
