Piano

Petey the Piano was excited to be moving, he had been forced to stay in one place for too long.

Petey didn’t think that he could live so indignantly for much longer, and prayed for someone to take an interest in him.

Today, two strong-looking men approached Petey and stood on either side of him

Soon, he was through the door and out into the blissful sunshine of the outdoors.

Petey sat, and he sat, and he sat until the day gave way to the night, and everything was dark

Petey the piano had been sitting outside for far too long, and he was sad, tired, cold, and hurt.

One day, a truck stopped on the side of the road right beside Petey.

The side of the truck read “Unwanted Piano” and it seemed to Petey like an angel wrapped in steel. Petey was loaded into the truck next to other pianos

“Unwanted Piano” takes abandoned pianos that are still in working order, like Petey, and sells them to people who want a piano.

Petey waited in anticipation for the new life ahead of him.

Petey is now comfortably sitting in the living room of a loving family, who plays with him frequently.

If it hadn’t been for “Unwanted Piano,” he’d be sitting in some dump somewhere far away from where he should be, playing music for a caring family.
