1974: Union Depot listed on National Register of Historic Places

2000: LOCATE Committee formed to look at Downtown transportation Hub

2004: Project of Regional and National Significance $45 Million in SAFETEA-LU funding

2005-2008: RCRRA purchases Depot Property from USPS and other owners

2009: RCRRA purchases Head House, securing public ownership of 35+ acres

2010: Awarded $35 Million in TIGER Grants
