RISC: Con1nuous Improvement ü Always willing to do a personal inventory of oneself and willing to
readjust to have con3nued improvement as a person and as a school system.
ü Students at all levels need to be improving throughout the process ü Is key. Team gives input to assess program and adjust, then move to
model implementa'on.
ü Always assessing and improving based on those assessments is key to the school's growth.

Race to the Top Award 2 of the 16 Race to the Top Federal Awards in 2013 went to RISC schools: Lindsay Unified School District in California & Charleston County School District in South Carolina.
Adams 50 School District “What we’ve seen is the learning gaps have gofen smaller, and that’s a direct correla1on to their TCAP scores going up,” Gould, the school’s principal, said. “because we’re finally closing the gap. I think that’s the biggest thing: this system actually helps support stopping the gaps in academic achievement.”
Chugach District • First ever educa3onal winner of the Baldrige Award for RISC Framework • 92% of students pursue secondary goals • 9% teacher aari3on rate annually • Students score far above the state average in all subject areas
