Satelite image of Thibaud
This lovely village is home to about 2,000 people from many walks of life including: farmers, fishermen, teachers, architects, nurses, doctors, policemen, musicians, engineers, carpenters, masons, religious leaders, entrepreneurs, financial personnel.
OUR PEOPLE
How it all startedThe long awaited reuniting of members of the Thibaud community has been on the minds and in the hearts of persons both at home right here in Thibaud and abroad. However, Mayma Massicot, out of New York got the wheels churning in Thibaud and throughout the diaspora.
Why the Reunion?
Designed by Trevor Victor The Sun reminds us that a new day is dawn. The Bats have been part of our community for generations. The winding road symbolizes the struggle we face as we journey into a brighter future. Coconut trees and breadfruit leaves represent our farmers toil and our rich agricultural heritage. The football and guitar depict the development of sports and culture in our community. The book symbolizes the importance of education in Thibaud.
