Multipurpose Hall for Ongoing
Pastoral Formation
for the ALCP in the Opus Spiritus Sancti
In the year 2015, the Apostolic Life Community of
Priests in the Opus Spiritus Sancti started the con-
struction of the multipurpose hall for ongoing pasto-
ral formation for priests and lay Christians in Moshi/
Tanzania. It is a multipurpose hall which can accom-
modate 120 people. The funds for the construction of
this hall came from our friends and the salaries of
our priests who are doing pastoral ministry in Europe
and in the United States. We are expecting to finish
the work of painting the multipurpose hall and we
shall bless and inaugurate both the ongoing Pastoral
Formation house and the multipurpose hall on April
26, 2017.
Dear Parishioners, I am writing to ask your finan-
cial support for buying 34 dining tables and
272 table chairs (The multipurpose hall will
be used as refectory or dining hall).
Fr. Ben, formerly from St. Jude will be speaking at
all the Masses this weekend for this purpose.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Fr. Joseph Israel, Superior General,
ALCP/OSS

288. What is the meaning of the
altar?
The altar is the symbol of Christ
himself who is present both as sacri-
ficial victim (the altar of the sacri-
fice) and as food from heaven which is given to us
(the table of the Lord).
“Our lives begin to end, the
day we become silent about things
that matter.” ~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Without
life, nothing else matters. Please be silent no more
and speak out against abortion.
Week 6
Gabriela is now 10,000 times larger than the origi-
nal fertilized egg and she is developing rapidly.
Her heart is pumping and increasing quantities of
blood through her body. The placenta forms a
unique barrier between mother and her baby. The
baby likely has a different blood type, different
DNA and is not part of the mother’s body.
“Even the hairs of your head have all be counted.
Do not be afraid. You are worth more than many
sparrows.” (Luke 12:7)

R.C.I.A.R.C.I.A.R.C.I.A.
Mary is not present within us in the same way as is her Son, but her function
as Mother, both in our regard and in that of Christ, ensures that her hand is
always near and able to help us. Her ears are quick to hear us, and her eyes
never lose sight of us. Our prayers need no words to carry them to her ears;
the mere smile of our heart, the sigh of our soul, are seen by her immediately,
and there need be no delay before she comes to our help. She is the Refuge of
sinners, the Comforter of the afflicted; she is the Mother of Perpetual succor,
the Mother of Divine Grace; she is the Mother of Christ and of us all. There is
no one who need be afraid to speak to her of his needs, there is no one whose
needs are beyond her powers, there is no one whose sins will turn her away
from him. There is no work, save that of sin, that may not be done under her
eyes, and the true picture of the spiritual life lived in union with Mary is that of a child at work or at play,
secure in the consciousness of his Mother seated within call, always ready to take an interest
in his doings and never unable to help. ~ Dom M. Eugene Boylan, O.C.R.
