D’Arcy wrote this letter to Les shortly before his death in 1942

It was the last letter he wrote.

Les did not get the letter, or know the news about D’Arcy until 1944 when he was released from

internment in Stalag 18A and repatriated in 1944.

Les kept the letter, and showed to me in 2015.
