DDC said that the District Rural Road Plan has tremendousbearing on the all round socio-economic development of the dis-trict. The plan has been prepared after appropriate verificationof Block Rural Roads Plans and scrutinised by the DistrictPlanning Committee. DDC said that Pradhan Mantri GramSadak Yojana (PMGSY) seeks to provide Road connectivitythrough good All-weather roads to all rural habitations. UnderPMGSY, the primary focus will be on providing connectivity tounconnected habitations in the district, he added.
