HISTORY OF THE TI-84 Texas Instruments pre 1990 - known for semiconductors 1990 - introduced their first graphing calculator, the TI-81. 1990 - led to an increase in popularity of graphing calculators 1990 - and since their first release, many models were launched 2004 - TI-84 release - Remains the most popular graphing calculator by TI

TI-NSPIRE • Released 2011 • 320 x 240 color display • Texas Instruments ET-NS2010B processor • 100 MB ram • Price: $130

ZILOG Z80 • 8 bit processor
