Tilt Aggregation Procedure for Kathrein PCA

This procedure requires PCA v2.3.3 software on the computer.
Begin by launching the PCA software and connecting to the FlexRET module.
Click Start Scan and Connect.
After the scan is done, you will see the current configuration. The antenna type in
this example is 80010892V01. Your type may differ.
Click Software Update.

If the Software Update screen shows 86010153V01 under Product Number and FW_V02.02.00 under
Software Version, proceed directly to the aggregation process on page 9. If not, the firmware on the
FlexRET MUST be updated, or the aggregation files cannot be loaded. For this procedure, continue to
the next page.

On this screen, click Select. Any one of the RET numbers can be used for this
process.

Browse to the location of the files you received, select the file named
86010153_FRET_FW_V02-02-00 and click Open.

Click Start.

You will see a typical progress bar. It will take a few minutes.

When it is done, the Finish button will be enabled and you can click it.

The Device Status screen will reappear. Click Software Update.

Note the Software Version is now V02.02.00 on all the RETs. The product number
will not change if you have just updated the firmware.
Click Select on any of the RETs.

Browse to the location of the files you received and select the antenna type you
are using. Note that your antenna type may vary. Click Open.

Click Start.

This file loads quickly and you will not see a progress bar. Click Finish.

Note that the RETs to be aggregated are in ERROR. That is because they no longer
exist and have been replaced by aggregated RETs.
Click the Device Status button to return to the main screen.

Click Yes to go to the opening screen.

Click Start Scan and Connect.

Note that the newly aggregated RETs have appeared. Note the new Serial
Numbers with the descriptive suffixes.
The ERROR messages indicate the they must be calibrated. Click the Details
button on the first one.

Note the NOT_CALIBRATED Status. Click Calibrate.

This takes several seconds while the aggregated RET is calibrated.
The Status is MOVING during this process.

When it is done, the Status will be OK. Click Back to Device Status.

Calibrate the remaining aggregated RET in the same manner as before.

Click Calibrate.

Note the OK Status message.

Click Back to Device Status to confirm proper configuration and Status.
