1. Set Personal GoalsKnow what it is you want to do with your time!
2. Create A Work PlanAvoid procrastination by knowing what you need to do when.
3. Watch MultitaskingCan be effective use of time but can also create a false sense of
productivity.
4. Menu PlanTakes care of many activities at once – what to cook, shopping lists, budgeting.
5. Advanced PreparationKeep a step ahead to allow room for family life’s natural disasters!
6. Use A TimerBe disciplined. Use a timer for playing with the kids, cleaning tasks, time online etc
7. DelegateIt is ok to give jobs to the kids and your partner.
8. Plan and PruneEffective time management doesn’t mean doing it all. You need to
make decisions on where to spend your time.
