IBM Lifecycle Policy of “3 + 2”
Provide a minimum of 3 years of support beginning at the general availability (GA) date of the version/release of the product.
Announce End of Support (EOS): At least 12 months notice prior to withdrawing support for the version/release.
April and September are the only months when support for the version/release is withdrawn.
All products/components included in a bundle are supported until the bundle’s EOS date.
Option: Extended Support is offered for a minimum period of 2 years following the product’s EOS date.
