THE SHOWThe Travel Shows are the largest free-to-attend shows in London and the plan is to emulate this with the additional shows in Australia. The TNT/STA Travel Shows attract thousands of visitors who are eager to plan and book their travels. The shows offer people the chance to source travel information from a wide range of exhibitors – offering day trips and city breaks to extended tours throughout the world. There is also an extensive travel seminar programme, which gives visitors the chance to hear about places they might not have considered visiting before and to get tips and advice on what to do and when to go to certain places.
WHO EXHIBITS?The exhibitors are global and with an increasing global audience this event’s programme is the only independent travel show programme that enables agents, operators, and accommodation providers to meet this elusive audience face to face and when they are actively engaging in making purchasing decisions.

WHO ATTENDS?The UK shows have traditionally serviced the backpacker market in London, however in recent years more international students have attended and now 1 in 3 is an international or British student meaning the audience is looking for destinations to visit globally.
The Australian shows plan to have a dual audience profile. It will appeal to the backpackers and international students already in Australia and it will also have relevance to the young Australian audience who are planning to visit the UK and Europe.
The 2015 travel show programme will see four shows take place.
Two in London at The Business Design Centre in Islington taking place on Sunday March 1st 2015, and in November 2015. There will also be two shows in Australia, one in Sydney at the SMC Conference & Function Centre and one in Melbourne at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre. The dates to be announced soon.

AUSTRALIAN TRAVEL SHOWS
The shows in Australia will attract 2 core audiences, both of whom are dedicated travellers looking for the greatest adventures at a great price.
The Inbound market - or international visitors to Australia are the first core group of people the shows will be targeted too. Either on Working Holiday visas or Student visas, this group of people will be invited to attend to chat to the operators and the regional tourist boards about their travelling plans and maybe book some travel.
The Outbound market - or Australian’s travelling to the UK & Europe on a Working Holiday visa or simply to fulfil the “rite of passage” will also attend the show to meet operators and tourist boards and discuss their plans and book some activities/tours before they depart on their travels.
Not only will visitors be able to discuss and see some of the fantastic places to visit and trips to take on their travels - there will also be a number of talks/seminars provided by people to offer tips/advice or travel inspiration throughout the day.
There will also be a number of competitions and prize draws throughout the day so that some people go away with prizes/vouchers or beer!
There will be a bar and refreshments on offer and an entertainment programme throughout the day to keep the visitors entertained and so that they stay at the show for longer.
We are expecting around 2000 people to attend each show in Melbourne and Sydney.
