deadline you MUST submit your transcript

request BEFORE December break.

ACCEPTANCE LETTERS: When you receive an acceptance

letter from a college or university, please bring a copy to the Guidance office.

Tips if you are “deferred”

A deferral is NOT a denial! Follow the directions in the deferral letter. Send the college any NEW info. about you.

“New” = test scores, awards, honors, etc. When sending new info., include a short

note explaining the “new” information. Read the letter carefully. See your counselor or college counselors

for ?’s

SENIOR YEAR COUNTS!!!

Colleges review your senior year transcript in June.

Your application is not complete until they receive your final (complete 4-year) transcript.

You must maintain the same academic standards

You must notify your colleges of ANY schedule changes.

7th Semester grades(“mid-year report”)

Not all colleges require 7th semester grades, also called a “mid-year report”.

Your 7th semester (mid-year) grades ARE NOT automatically sent.

If a college(s) needs your 7th semester (mid-year) grades, what do you do?

Come to Guidance after December break.

Fill out the purple “7th Semester Transcript Request” – one for each school

There is NO FEE for this request.
