KRA - Pastor

• KRA #1 – Maintain Healthy Lifestyle:

• Examine and maintain healthy priestly lifestyle according to recommendations of “I Will Give You Shepherds” (Pope John Paul II) and “Guidelines for Priestly Formation” (US Bishops Conf.) to ensure continued, effective and vibrant ministry.

KRA – Parish Staff

• KRA #2 – Staff Development:

• Within the next year, Parish Staff will choose, plan and execute one staff development activity in each of the following areas:– Professional– Spiritual– Service

• ...in order to enhance the human, spiritual and pastoral skills of staff members.

KRA – Adult Faith Formation

• KRA #2 - Healing-Based Information with a Pastoral Emphasis:

• Provide information integrated with other parish programs (possibly aligned and coordinated with the “Pastoral Outreach” ministry of the parish) with a focus on healing the wounds which prevent us from enjoying a loving relationship with Jesus.

KRA – High School Youth Formation

• KRA #1 – Spiritual & Social Activities:

• Plan, organize and implement one social and one spiritual activity aimed at the parish mission for the youth, in order to encourage our youth to grow in their faith in a holistic way.

• KRA # 3 – Parish-Based Faith Formation:

• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive Faith Formation/Catechetical Plan for the parishioners, with special focus on ages 3 through elementary school age in order to begin to develop the qualities of “discipleship” within the parish.

KRA - Parish Pastoral Council

• KRA #1 - Be a connection between parishioners, the pastor and the parish leadership. Provide two-way feedback to the Pastor and provide timely communication to the parishioners in order to:

– Create opportunities to have a visible presence in the parish,– Determine the best method to secure parish feedback (other

than survey),– Participate and support the Pastor’s “town hall” meetings,– Institute program to welcome and inform new parishioners.

KRA – Parish Finance Council

• KRA #2 –Budget and Planning:

• Develop the annual parish budget and update the parish 5-year plan with input from the pastor, parish staff, Facilities Committee and Pastoral Council and communicate to the parish and archdiocese in order to ensure the efficient use of parish resources in achieving the parish mission. (Budget Sub-Committee)

KRA – Liturgy & Music

• KRA #2 - Youth Music.

• Administer and direct a “graded choral program,” benefitting our youth and young adults and giving them opportunity to directly participate in the worship life of the parish, while being formed as choristers.
