Mission

To enhance public understanding of toxicology throughaccess to objective, science-based information on thesafety of chemicals and other agents encountered indaily life.

Vision

A public that understands the essentials of toxicology.

Historical Highlights

Incorporated in 1990 to receive charitable contributions supporting SOT’seducational outreach activities including:

K-12 teacher “Paracelsus” programs Minority undergraduate participation in an educational program at the SOT

meeting

K-12 curriculum materials developed with other organizations Essentials of Cell Biology BioRap
