TranslationsInLondon has a database of over 1000 professional translators, all of which hold advanced degrees in translation-relatedfields in addition to 3 or more years of translation experience.
Many of our translators come from specialist backgrounds meaning weare able to give you, the client, the most accurate and technically correct translations possible.
Such specialist knowledge includes:- Legal- Medical/Pharmaceutical- Economics/Finance- Fashion Design and Textiles- Many Technical Disciplines

Quality Assurance is a key component of our translation management process.Our QA process enables the delivery of consistently excellent translations whileallowing us to continuously keep developing our services.
TranslationsInLondon is unique in that for each new customer, our LanguageResources Team pre-selects translators based on their experience in the required subject matter.
Both a translator and reviewer work on each project (where clients choosereview). The reviewer checks for correctness, appropriate writing styleand consistency of translation.

All of our translators must:
•Be native translators with a higher-education degree (preferably in language)
•Have at least 3 years professional experience
•Pass interviews and rigorous subject–specific language tests.
•Be proficient in the use of CAT tools All of our translations are completed by in–country, native speakers of the target language and reviewed for accuracy and style by a second linguist who is a specialist in the subject matter

Project Preparation:
The project manager appoints a project team, prepares a project kit/glossary and provides technical training for team members if necessary.
The project manager is responsible for pre-assessing any project in order to foresee potential problems and find feasible solutions in advance to avoid any unexpected setbacks.

Translation, Editing and Proofreading Process (TEP):
•Query reports and regular meetings are used to share information, keep track of progress and resolve any difficulties promptly.
•Editors review all translations by comparing the target language against the source language. Accuracy, grammar, spelling and writing style are checkedthoroughly.
•Proof readers also simulate the experience of the end user by checking thetext without referring to the source documents.

Quality Assurance Process:
•TIL perform a final Quality Assurance check using a 3rd linguist to ensurethe translation is error free.
•TIL use TM (Translation Memory) tools to create project specific glossaries thataid all translators and proof-readers working on a project. TM tools help maintainlanguage consistency across multiple projects and translators.
•TM tools aid consistency during a translation project. After the translation process is complete, our QA specialists will check and test each and every project before delivering to the client.

Sign off and summery:
•A sign off meeting is held among the project team members and the QA manager to perform a final review of the completed project to ensure all of the requirements have been satisfied with the required quality.
•The PM and QA manager internally evaluate the project quality and team members performance. The translation memory and glossary are updated and stored in our system.
