Transmedia Storytelling: creating new educational scenarios
Questions: • How do teachers see and use digital technologies? • What kind of activities and learning situations can be developed for educational
purposes based on the concept of transmedia? • How transmedia strategies affect dynamics of teaching and learning practices?
Design Process:
Results: We believe this research will develop a conceptual framework that allows teachers to develop a set of innovative transmedia strategies based on different content, objectives, disciplines and grades. This guidance aims at providing tutorials and lesson plans that benefit student learning processes.

Motivation: This project is motivated by the gap between the evolution of digital technology and its limited use inside the classroom. The goal is to produce knowledge about the potential of transmedia storytelling on educational contexts and understanding its implications on teachers’ pedagogical practices. Transmedia storytelling is a new area with the potential to offer great benefits and innovation to the processes of teaching and learning.
