BioTrevor Hirst started his working life as a photographer back in 1979 BD

(before digital) specialising in fashion, fine-art and portraiture. He soon

built a working relationship with agencies in Yorkshire and Lancashire

who supplied him with willing models to photograph and train as part of

their induction into the business.

Having an abundant supply of models to work with was a major advan-

tage, allowing him the luxury to work on creative projects, taking the girls

to exotic locations in the Yorkshire Dales and beyond (as far away as

Whitby!). No expense (and cups of tea) was spared in his pursuit of fine

art photography.

More recently, through the ravages of time and a change in career, he

now captures travel pictures exclusively for his own collection.

This portfolio provides a glimpse into the past and a peek at the future,

ranging from early black & white images to a few from his latest trips

abroad and closer to home.
