Responsive Reading: Psalm 24:1-5 (NKJV)
Leader: (24:1) The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. Congregation: (24:2) For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. Leader: (24:3) Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? Congregation: (24:4) He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. ALL: (24:5) HE SHALL RECEIVE BLESSING FROM THE LORD, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM THE GOD OF HIS SALVATION.
The Church Covenant Leader
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our
faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, we do now in the presence of God,
angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
Congregation
We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church,
in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship; ordinances, discipline,
and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly in the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the
poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
Leader
We also engage to maintain family and secret devotions; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred
and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings; faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in
our deportment; to avoid all tattling, back-biting and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale and use of intoxicating drinks as a
beverage; and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.
Congregation
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness
and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready
for reconciliation, and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay.
All
We more over engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church, where we
can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.

From: Pastor Tunstill
To: My entire Trinity Family, please commit to memory:
Psalm 15 (NKJV) A Psalm of David.
1LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? 2 He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; 3 He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; 4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the LORD; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5 He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
O How I Love Jesus
There is a name I love to hear, I love to sing it’s worth; It sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest name on earth.
Chorus: O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, because he first loved me!
It tells me of a Savior's love, Who died to set me free; It tells me of his precious blood, The sinner's perfect plea.
Chorus: O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, because he first loved me!
It tells of One whose loving heart Can feel my deepest woe; Who in each sorrow bears a part That none can bear below.

ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS A MAN WHO HAD NOTHING. AND GOD GAVE HIM TEN APPLES
HE GAVE HIM THREE APPLES TO EAT. HE GAVE HIM THREE APPLES TO TRADE FOR SHELTER FROM THE SUN AND RAIN. HE GAVE HIM THREE APPLES TO TRADE FOR CLOTHING TO WEAR.
HE GAVE HIM ONE APPLE SO THAT HE MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO GIVE BACK
TO GOD TO SHOW HIS GRATITUDE FOR THE OTHER NINE.
THE MAN ATE THREE APPLES. HE TRADED THREE APPLES FOR SHELTER FROM THE SUN AND RAIN. HE GAVE THREE APPLES FOR CLOTHING TO WEAR.
THEN HE LOOKED AT THE TENTH APPLE…IT SEEMED BIGGER AND JUICER THAN THE REST…
HE KNEW THAT GOD HAD GIVEN HIM ONE APPLE SO THAT HE MIGHT RETURN IT TO HIM OUT OF GRATITUDE FOR THE OTHER NINE. BUT THE TENTH APPLE LOOKED BETTER THAN ALL THE REST. AND HE REASONED THAT GOD HAS ALL THE OTHER APPLES IN THE WORLD…SO THE MAN ATE THE TENTH APPLE…. AND GAVE….BACK TO GOD…..
THE CORE. GOD HAS GIVEN YOU ENOUGH APPLES TO SUPPLY YOUR NEEDS; PLUS ONE WITH WHICH YOU MAY SHOW YOUR GRATITUDE TO HIM. THE CHOICE IS YOURS. WILL YOU RETURN TO GOD THE LARGEST AND JUICIEST OF YOUR APPLES…OR ONLY THE CORE?
The Right Direction is: Forward in Christ.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020!!!
God be Praised, and Trinity be Thanked: Pastor Alvin Tunstill, Jr. & First Lady Dr. Sandra Lynn Tunstill appreciate your generous love, gifts, cards, and prayers during this Christmas season. Sandra and I are very blessed by your out-pouring of Grace at Christmas time. Thank you again to our Trinity family for being so giving and gracious. I am excited about Trinity in 2020. I am excited as we are now approaching our 103rd year as a Church family. God’s Holy Spirit is leading and continues to call Trinity to bring in 100 people (One Hundred Souls) to join our church in 2020. We will need every member to help us reach this goal.
I am excited about our Spiritual Gifts Discovery seminar that is planned for early in 2020. I am excited that we will revive our Monthly Friday Nite Fellowship with Movie Nites (in the Caston Center OR out at the Movie Theatre), or Games and Fellowship & fun. I am excited about Trinity doing a 24hour Prayer Vigil where our Trinity Church doors are OPEN for 24 hours and prayer Teams will be leading people in prayers at the beginning of each hour for the entire 24 hours. I am excited about the Financial Literacy program we have planned to help first time home buyers purchase a home. I am excited about the seminars sharing with our congregation regarding “Pre-needs, Budgeting, and Estate Planning. I am excited about our Sports Ministry, Music Department, Ushers, Missionaries, Sunday School, Trustees, Deacons, Clothes Closet, Hot Lunch Personnel, Homeless Showers, Office Staff, Security Personnel, Custodians and all the great ministries, and great people God is working in and through to make Trinity a great church. I really Am Excited about 2020; I hope you will be excited too! As the wise men taught us, we must “search” for ways to honor and serve our Christ “together”. As we all continue to grow we will discover new ministries, new ways to grow in Christ, and new ways to sacrifice to our Savior, for the great sacrifice Christ made for us! We are on the move in Jesus name. Every member & friend has a part in this journey that God has commissioned for us all. Making you Aware of the opportunities that the Lord is providing comes first. The second part is Involvement. An essential key is your enthusiastic participation! Let us plan our work and work our plan; remembering “small deeds done are better than great deeds planned”--Peter Marshall. As we enter into these early days of this New Year, and New Decade, 2020, let each of us pray for America, our president, Donald Trump, and in all of your praying please remember to pray for me! Strive to have a daily devotional, and daily go boldly to the throne of our Christ in prayer. Lastly, I quote 3rd John verse 2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things, and be in health, just as your soul prosper." Peace and Health to You All Year Long!! Have A Happy And Blessed New Year. Pastor Alvin Tunstill, Jr.
May God make your year a happy one! Not by shielding you from all sorrows and pain, But by strengthening you to bear it, as it comes; Not by making your path easy, But by making you sturdy to travel any path; Not by taking hardships from you, But by taking fear from your heart; Not by granting you unbroken sunshine, But by keeping your face bright, even in the shadows; Not by making your life always pleasant, But by showing you when people and their causes need you most, and by making you anxious to be there to help. God’s love, peace, hope and joy to you for the year ahead.
Lord, thank you so much for all that you have done for me, my friends, and my family. Your hand on
our lives is so much more than we could ask for, and your blessings are so greatly appreciated. I
know, Lord, that you have seen our challenges, wept at our weaknesses, and rejoiced in our
successes.
As you know, we are now coming up on a new year. You know I have made resolutions to change the
areas of my life that need it, and I ask for your strength to make those changes. I ask for your
continued blessings and guidance to make me more like you, to walk better in your path, this year. I also ask, Lord, for your continued blessings on those around me. I ask that this year be one of
peace and joy for my family and friends. I ask that you continue to be a presence in all of our lives. I
ask that you give each of us a heart for you and a desire to serve to make the world a better place. I
also ask for peace and blessings on those far from home, for those who suffer, and for those who
need you a little more each day.
Thank you, Lord, for all you do in my life and for all your continued blessings and love.
In your name, Amen.
