What is Vine Kids?

• Vine Kids gives young children the chance to watch fun Vine videos outside of the traditional Vine App.

• No sign up for Vine Kids, no search ability, no interacting with the Vines - just swiping to see the next Vine. All a user does in Vine Kids is watch some of the best - child appropriate - Vines there are!

What is Vine Kids?

• Vine Kids is a completely separate app from Vine, Twitter and Periscope. It needs to be downloaded separately from the app store. There are no links to Twitter or Vine from within the Vine Kids app.

• The safety of the app really rests in its simplicity.

• User can’t upload their own videos - merely consuming.

• Periscope is an app that lets you share and experience live video from your mobile phone or desktop.

• It was acquired by Twitter in January. • Periscope is about being in the moment, connected to a person and a place. • This immediacy encourages direct and unfiltered participation in a story as it’s unfolding.

• Users are able choose to privately broadcast. This allows the broadcaster to choose who among their followers they want to invite to watch. This ensures the broadcast chat and hearts are from approved followers.

• In addition, for public broadcasts, the broadcaster can choose to only allow chat from their followers.
