• Vision:• This Industry Day presents an opportunity for I3MP to provide a
transparent open discussion of current contract support requirements and future opportunities that are planned for the near future
• Notional information is provided for long term opportunities for general planning purposes
• Overall IDIQ Contract Methodology:
• Selection of an existing IDIQ vehicle with sufficient scope, flexibility, ceiling and period of performance to meet the entire procurement activity
• Tasks will be developed within the singular identified IDIQ, and structured to meet specific requirements within the program
Intent was that we could rapidly execute single smaller task orders for each site.

Thoughts for Industry• Role of OEM and Prime Contractor
• Know the difference, and appreciate the roles
• Remember I3MP goal is to deliver capability• Good enough now probably is better than a perfect later• But don’t let us do stupid
• Feedback on RFI• Getting a little better, but still post award/RFP release seems to be a large
uptick in information that would have been helpful during RFI
• Honest timeline assessments for RFPs• Reverse Auctions
• Pros and Cons
