A prefix is a word part (affix) that is added to the beginning of a root word.

Today we are going to look at the prefixes:

non- mis-

Let’s look at the prefix:

The prefix non- means not or no.

EXAMPLE WORDS

nonfat means? - no fat

nonfiction means? - not fiction

Let’s look at the prefix:

The prefix mis- means bad, badly, incorrect, wrongly, failure, or lack of.
