Consider Your Stirrup Length

Your stirrup should be adjusted correctly.

The top of the stirrup tread should be in line with the bottom of your ankle bone.

Check to find where the deepest part of your saddle is.

Put a pen near the cantle and allow it to roll into the middle of the saddle.

Is the middle close to the cantle of the saddle? Or closer to the stirrup bar?
