Grace Seiler, member of STFVM wrote in a paper for English 1: “She’s the First has changed my views because now I see that not everyone has the opportunities I have growing up. These girls in less privileged countries have not had the opportunities I have had, and I have learned not to take these opportunities for granted. My education was never second-guessed by my family and I will be able to do more things with my life because of it. I am very lucky to have the opportunities I have had and am glad that I am able to share these opportunities with girls that may not get them if it were not for us.”

Lizzy Lyon, member of STFVM wrote in a paper for Language Arts/Reading: “As you can see, we are all getting something out of this. I am learning what it’s like to help someone who is less fortunate than me. The girl in Tanzinia is learning new and exciting things in school. I hope that more people get more active in helping people around the world, because in the end you can look back and realize what a difference you made. Even if you are donating to a local charity, ever bit makes a difference in someone’s life. It is never too late to change a life at a time.”
