• AMA group is the global leader in eco friendly natural textile dyes for more than a decade.

• We mainly deal with providing extract form of natural dyes which are used for dyeing and coloring of textile, carpets & hairs.

• The dyes contain pure and natural herbs and uses leaves and plant roots.

• Latest technologies are used for extracting colors from natural resources.

• Initially we started with dyes for textile application and later added dyes for different fibers like, leather, wool, cotton, silk, hemp, bamboo, etc

• Today our major sales come from the denim industries and organic cotton industries which are growing at a good pace.

Colour in 2001 which was further developed in collaboration with Saba Botanical of USA.

• The product is introduced in Europe as ColorWell.

Challengesin usingnatural dyesfor textiles

• Chemical dyes were introduced in 1950s, as using natural dyes created several challenges.

• Huge quantities of natural dyes were required to dye textile.

• Long process of application - required 2-3 days to get a particular shade.

• Standardization of natural dyes used to be a big problem for repeatability of shades.

• Our R & D team tested more than 500 colour giving plants & selected those which fit the criteria of availability, costing, dyeing results and fastness. Now we are able to offer:

- Standardized extract form of natural dyes throughout the year.

- Small percentage of natural dyes is required to get the desired shades which make dyes usable even on most modern dyeing machines

• We have reduced process time from 2-3 days to 3-4 hours, making dyeing much easier and economical for large dye houses.

• With this innovative process of dyeing, fastness has also increased to acceptable levels

• We also customize the process of dyeing as per the requirements of the dye houses.
