Vehicle Safety:

Sensors play a vital

role in ensuring :

Fuel efficiency

& emissions

Protecting the safety

To control

extreme

temperature

To avoid

environmental

contaminants

Here is

a list of

sensors:

Oil Pressure sensor helps to measure the pressure at which the oil pump is pumping engine oil.

Oil pumps operate in the 20 to 40 pounds per square

inch range. If the oil pressure is going below then engine damage will occur.

The oxygen sensor aims to help the engine to run efficiently Helps to control the emission rate

If the oxygen sensor will stop working then your car may consume more fuel

ECT (Engine coolant temperature sensor) is used to monitor the internal temperature of the engine. At the time of engine running, it absorbs the heat from the cylinders It monitors the change in temperature and send you signals

Knock sensor is used to protect the engine from engine knock. Optimize engine performance Protect the engine against power-robbing

TPS is used in an internal combustion engine.

TPS is used to monitor the position of the throttle butterfly valve.

Anti-lock brake system is used to monitor the rotational speed of the wheel.

It transmits the data to the ABS control module.

MAF sensor is used in the plastic housing between the engine and the air filter.

MAF is used to send signals which helps the engine computer to calculate fuel delivery and spark timing.

Car Parking Sensors:

Three types of parking sensors are there:

Ultrasonic parking sensors

Electromagnetic parking sensor

Rear facing cameras

Ultrasonic parking sensors are equipped with built-in speaker which will measure the distance from the bumper of your car to any other nearby vehicle or objects.

The speaker in the car bleeps if any object getting closer to the vehicle.

Electromagnetic parking sensor is a no hole, no drill, no damage parking sensor that provides your car all round protection.

It will create an invisible electromagnetic field around your car bumper and will trigger a warning sound if any object is entering to that field.

Rear facing cameras will show you the real picture on the back of your vehicle.

It is very helpful in reducing accidents.

It will give warning signals with regards to collisions so that the driver may get ready and can react accordingly.
