Materials

6 1/2 x 10 1/2" card stock4 1/4 x 5 3/4" card stock

Shape die or template (e.g., Nestabilites, Coluzzle)4 1/4 x 5 1/2" Vellum or Acetate (or overhead projector sheet)

Double Stick TapeRound Corner Punch

1" circle punch

On the 6 1/2" side of the card stock score at 3 1/2" and 8"

On the 10 1/2" side, score at 1/2"

Cut at the 1/2" score line to the 3 1/2" horizontal score line and removeRepeat the steps to the other side

Leave center flap intact

After cutting off the left and right flaps, snip off the corners of the 1/2" flap at an angle as shown in the picture

Cut a window on the center panel, centered. . .using a shape die or template

Stamp the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" vellum or acetate. Decorate as desired

Add double stick tape around the shape

Adhere the vellum or acetate to the center panel

Apply double stick tape to the edge of the 2 1/2" panel. Apply the tape on the inner side of the pocket. The 2 1/2" flap will overlap the 3 1/2" flap when assembling the pocket

(not pictured) Apply double stick tape to the 1/2" flap

Assemble the pocket by first folding the 3 1/2" panel at the score line then fold the 2 1/2" panel at the score line over the 3 1/2" panel and adhere. Fold the 1/2" flap over to seal the

pocket (similar to an envelope)

To the top front opening of the pocket, punch a slot using a 1" circle punchDo not punch the back panel, just the front

Punch the corners of the top side of the 4 1/4 x 5 3/4" card stock. This will be the insert of the pocket. Decorate the insert as desired

Insert the 4 1/4 x 5 3/4" card stock into the pocket

This window pocket was created using vellum

This window pocket was created using acetate. When using acetate, the insert's design shows through the window a lot more clearer
