Students will go online through their school portal to the Tech-X registration site.

Students will input their name, phone, school, tee-shirt size, areas of interest and a paragraph on why they would like to attend Tech-X 2010.

Students will access competition descriptions and rules and complete the registration forms and a photo release form.

The individual schools will use the student registration information to make a selection of students that will attend. The total number of students from each school will be determined by the individual school in coordination with the Tech-X team. Participation is limited on Friday to 1500.

The Tech-X team will receive a list from each school containing the names of the students attending, their areas of interest and tee-shirt size and a list of chaperones, their cell numbers and collared shirt sizes.

May 3rd , 2010:

Bus Driver Packets ~ Bus directions showing times, entry routes, drop off and pickup locations and day parking area.

Chaperone Packets ~ Map, rules and regulations for the student guests, outline of the process and collared shirt for each chaperone. Please wear your shirt while attending Tech-X on both May 7th and 8th. Snap-on school color keyed wrist bands and shirts will be provided for each student participant. Bands and shirts should be on prior to arrival at the campus. Shirts and bands are required while on campus and to receive lunch.

Contest Participants Packet ~ Participants will receive the individual contest times, location of the competition and procedures for Saturday May 8th.

Greeters will board buses prior to unloading.

Greeters will welcome the students, cover the days procedures, provide passports, maps and information for Friday’s events and review the rules and regulations.

Chaperones will receive information flyers for Saturday’s competitions.

Students must display both the wristband and shirt to receive lunch, attend activities, enter competitions and be on campus during Tech-X on both Friday and Saturday.

Chaperones will hand out an information flyer for Saturday’s competitions as students board the buses to return home.
