Día de la Victoria (Victory Day) is celebrated on September 8th every year when the locals commemorate the day when the Reyes Católicos (Catholic Monarchs) took the city from the Moors in the late-1400s.The procession starts after a mass in the Cathedral through the city and finishes in the Victoria Church.
