VICTORY DAY Is a morning of education, inspiration, and fun on the gridiron for children with special needs. These participants are provided with a full “game day experience”. Any children ages 6-21, with cognitive and/or physical impairments who live within the South Lyon school district are eligible for this fully-funded experience. On Victory Day, participants with special needs have the opportunity to play football, and cheer on the squad, while their parents, family members, caregivers, and teachers witness the realization of a dream coming true for their child or friend. The event is hosted by the South Lyon High School Varsity Football Team, and the SLHS Cheer Team.
