Solo Taxonomy

Auckland PD DayGlen Eden Intermediate School

Our key learningImplementation of solo, seeing it in action as part of a daily classroom routine.

Integrated into all aspects of classroom life and learning.

The benefit of using a school wide colour code for teachers. Which also helped students identify the different stages of solo.

Helpful to get examples of units, brainstorms, assessment tools to support us with our own planning and teaching using solo.

Interesting to hear how students are responding to solo and the benefits they are identifying for their own learning.

We believe that the easiest way to start implementing solo into your daily program is to start with using the solo words in your learning intentions and success criteria.
