ComplacentIf you are complacent, you don’t think that you need to worry or do anything about a situation.

The girls were complacent while they were bullying another girl.

PronouncementPronouncements are formal orders or announcements.

At the horse race the man called out the winning horses.

IntricateSomething that is intricate is complicated or difficult because it has many details or small parts.

The painter’s painting was very intricate.

FoistIf you foist something on people, you force it on them.

On the movie “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” the old ladies foisted food to the Grinch.

Arbiter An arbiter is someone who settles disagreements.

The social worker was the arbiter when the two girls were arguing.

IndulgentIf you are indulgent, you enjoy giving others what they want.

The butler was indulgent towards the girl.

RaucousSomething that is raucous is loud and rowdy.
