Here is an aquarium. The map shows the migration path of gray whales. These trainers work with orca whales and try to detect what the whales try to communicate. The males can be aggressive, so they are kept apart. The man wants to teach the whale a trick, but he is not sure it will work. He looks dubiously at the whale. He cannot show frustration. The trainers bring fish as a reward. They are secretive about where they keep the fish. But the memory of rewards is imprinted on the whales. They expect the fish! At first, the whales only tolerated the trainers because they wanted the fish. But they learned to trust the trainers. A special bond began to materialize.
