Volume is one of the largest fully integrated communications agencies, with awealth of experience across the full communication spectrum. Volumeemploys over 100 staff and have an extensive client basis across a range ofsectors.Volume required a recruitment supplier to deliver acrossthree marketing specialisms – Client Services, Creative andDevelopment/Technical; each specialism required abespoke recruitment solution which presented a uniquechallenge.

BPS were selected due to their proven track record indelivering marketing candidates, and developed a clearunderstanding of Volume’s business/culture and itsrecruitment process.

For the Client Services roles, BPS utilised their extensivesearch capability, identifying and then extracting the righttalent. Once identified, all talent were assessed usingBelbin testing, marrying the new recruitment process withVolume’s existing process. This ensured consistency inassessment and an exceptional quality of hire wasestablished.

To fulfil the Creative requirements, BPS used their marketleading Creative talent bank to fulfil both freelance andpermanent roles.

Having a talent bank with proven candidates allowed aconsistent supply to be maintained and the agility toefficiently match supply with business need.

The Technical roles required a different tactic, and werefilled using BPS’s extensive headhunting capability –identifying the correct candidate through thoroughresearch, and promoting Volume as an employer ofchoice to the candidates identified.

This partnership has been extremely successful, with100% of the Technical, 95% of the Client Services and80% of the Creative roles filled. Volume are secure in theknowledge that BPS completely understands theirbusiness and have since further enhanced thisrelationship by asking BPS to resource for additionalspecialisms.
