From the Principal Dear Parents
As many of you would be aware
the preparaon for the School
Performance “McAuley GoggleBox”
is really ho!ng up.
On Monday just passed, I was privileged to witness
a few moments of the Kindergarten contribuon.
They did not know I was going to visit, so I saw the
raw version, very hot—they were on fire, with
Mrs Barton leading from the front.
Pre-purchased ckets for the performance have gone on sale and are available from
the Primary Office. Tickets will be on sale at the door also, but please be aware due
to popularity and demand—any or all performance (s) may be sold out in you do
not pre-book.
The School Execuve, at our meeng on Monday
decided to allocate all the funds raised by the
School Performance this year to support the
Fundraising Commi4ee of the Community Council.
The commi4ee has, as it first target, the construcon
of a Bus Shelter. I would like to thank all those
members of the school community who contributed
to the Street Stall, a very successful effort.
The commi4ee will report later in this Newsle4er
edion.
In closing I would like to offer my congratulaons to
the children of the Parish who received the
Sacrament of First Eucharist last weekend. It was a
beauful, prayerful evening and wonderful to see
the students appreciang the significance of the
occasion. Many thanks to all community members
who made this evening such a special event for our
children and their families.

Week 7, Term 3, Thursday 1st September 2016
Reflection “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get
up and do something. Don’t wait for good
things to happen to you. If you go out and
make some good things happen, you will fill
the world with hope, you will fill yourself
with hope.”
― Barack Obama
